Dasic's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

32-year old power forward Vladimir Dasic (207-PF-88) put on an amazing game in the last round for Al Ittihad and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Al Nahda (#8, 4-12) 75-74. Al Ittihad maintains the 6th position in Saudi Arabian league. Al Ittihad is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-9 record. In the team's last game Dasic had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Al Ittihad, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Vladimir Dasic averages this season 16.4ppg, 11.6rpg and 5.0apg.

Second best performed player last round was Michael Murray (196-SF-91) of Al Safa. He is American in his first season at Al Safa. In the last game Murray recorded impressive double-double of 20 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Safa lost that game 53-94 to the higher-ranked Al Fateh (#3, 12-4). Al Safa are still at the very bottom. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Al Safa managed to get this year. He went also for sixteen rebounds . Despite Washington's great performance Al Nahda lost 74-75 to slightly higher-ranked Al Ittihad (#6, 7-9). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Washington has individually a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 31.8ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 16.3rpg (3rd best).
